Mike & Eva Schwartz have been involved in Baptist Ministry over 30 years. He has pastored many churches in the Central Texas area as well as the Sequoia Baptist Church located in Kent, Washington. Mike is a Southwestern Seminary graduate and his wife, Eva, is a Registered Nurse. Their immediate family consists of 4 girls, April, Anita, Theresa, Dawn and one boy, Trey. They all live in the area. Mike has been Senior Pastor at Wyldwood for eleven years.
Mike is devoted to missions, working with Texas Baptist Men during diasters in Texas as well as a ARES, (Amateur Radio Emergency Service) Radio Operator. As Section Emergency Coordinator, he has been responsibler for providing emergency communications in 96 counties in South Texas and supervised a crew of over 1200 radio personnel to respond when needed.
Mike has a heavy background in the Building trades and takes care of and assists our Baptist men of Wyldwood in projects of the church. Mike is also a license Private Pilot and rides a Harley Davidson 3-wheeled motorcycle.

John came to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in 1968. Since that time, he has sought to serve the Lord using the talents that God provided him with that of teaching, administration and organization.
He was ordained into the Gospel Ministry in 1988, and received a Religious Education Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
He has served as a Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Director, Director of Education, Minister of Education in various churches around the State. He has served as the Assist Team Director for the Austin Baptist Association, Sunday School Conference Leader for the Texas Baptist Convention and team leader of the Sunday School Enrollment Training Clinic for the Sunday School Board, Nashville, Tennessee.
Currently, John serves Wyldwood Baptist Church as Minister of Education, responsible for clearly teaching the mission of WBC, overseeing the teaching organization of the church and discipling people into a correct relationship with God.
